o   Be polite and respectful - ChatGPT is programmed to respond politely and professionally, and it is important to treat it with the same level of respect.

o   Proper grammar and spelling will help ChatGPT understand your questions better and respond more accurately.

o   Experiment with different questions - ChatGPT can answer a wide range of questions, so feel free to ask anything you're curious about.

Some Don’ts

o   Don’t consider the output final. It still needs your professional input

o   Don’t consider the output factually correct. You need to fact check

o   Don’t consider the output grammatically correct. Double-check and use other software such as Word/Grammarly

o   Don’t consider the output unbiased. Watch for any political, gender, social or other bias

o   Don’t input any sensitive information. If you would not talk about a client’s information outside of the office (due to timing or other sensitivities), then don’t use ChatGPT

o   Don’t expect ChatGPT to provide the highest level of emotion, imagination, ethics, humor, values, or compassion unless you call that out in your prompt - so you’ll need to use your professionalism and experience to add

o   Don't use inappropriate language - ChatGPT is programmed to avoid offensive or inappropriate language; using such language may result in no response or inappropriate responses.

o   Don't expect ChatGPT to provide medical or legal advice - while ChatGPT can provide general information, it is not a substitute for professional advice from a qualified medical or legal expert.

o   Don't engage in lengthy or irrelevant conversations - ChatGPT is designed to provide concise and helpful responses, so keep your questions and interactions focused and relevant.
